SYRCC and KAOCA are blessed to announce that Swami Vinayakanandaji, a revered spiritual mentor from the Ramakrishna Ashram, will be visiting the Bay Area and hosting a talk on Ganesh Chaturthi- Significance and ideals of Lord Ganesha on Sep 8 at 4 pm PST. This will be his second visit to the US, and he has graciously agreed to offer spiritual discourses and Q&A sessions with seekers and devotees.
Swami Vinayakanandaji has devoted his life to the ideals of Renunciation and Service, having spent years in deep meditation and spiritual practice. Currently residing at the Ramakrishna Ashram in Bailur, Karnataka, India, he continues to inspire and guide spiritual aspirants.
Please join us in welcoming Swami Vinayakanandaji Maharaj for this unique opportunity to deepen our spiritual journey.
We are also delighted to invite you to a Hindustani Classical Vocal Concert presented by KAOCA and SYRCC at 5.30 pm PST following Swami Vinayakanandaji's session. The concert will feature vocalist Deepti Upasani Kaval, a senior disciple of the late Pt S.C.R. Bhat and Pt K.G. Ginde of the Agra Gharana. Deepti has over 25 years of experience and is currently training under Pt B. Krishna Bhat of the Gwalior Gharana. She is also a registered music teacher and examiner for Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, as well as an IT professional.
She will be accompanied by Santosh Sajip on Tabla and Manoj Tamhankar on Harmonium. Both are non-ticketed free entry events. This concert will be followed by Ganesh Chaturthi pooja and prasad at the temple. We look forward to seeing you all at the event.
